Disaster Recovery Assistance For Village Residents

Where: Mastic Beach Village Hall
427 Neighborhood Road

When: Wednesdays (2 hours):
10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Who: Family Service League

Notice to All Residents:
Beginning immediately and until further notice, the Family Service League will be offering counseling services for all residents in need of disaster recovery assistance.

The Family Service League representative will be available to assist village residents with the submission of forms and required paperwork for a variety of disaster assistance programs.

There are various grants and loans that residents may be eligible for, and the Village Board encourages all residents who may require any type of disaster assistance to take advantage of the free help available every Wednesday at Village Hall.

Disaster Relief Aid for Businesses at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library

NYS has released funding to provide Hurricane Sandy Disaster Recovery Assistance for Businesses through the Small Business Development Corporations (SBDC). The Stony Brook SBDC was required to place counselors in the Tri-Hamlet Community. Counselor’s will be on site on a full-time basis for up to two years at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library beginning Saturday 4/27/13.  More details to follow soon.

You may qualify to sign up with a Disaster Case Management program serving the Long Island region. Disaster Case Managers provide individual assistance designed to connect people to and navigate through the various public and private systems that are in place to help resolve your disaster-related unmet needs caused by the hurricane.

Vision LI Mastic Beach Cleanup – This Weekend
